Crypto chaos of the week 🫨
Crypto transfers go mainstream 💸 PayPal and Venmo now support ENS Domains! People can send crypto by just typing in someone’s ENS domain name.
Not a friends to lovers arc 😬 Some drama ensued after Friend.tech announced that they’re shutting down, with the creators walking away with $44M. The FRIEND token is plummeting along with public sentiment for the project.
Another chain joins Magic Eden 🪄 Monad will now be the 6th chain to join Magic Eden’s ecosystem. More info to come.
Common community updates 🌟
Within the Regen community, SeaTrees is proposing a new credit type for Marine Ecosystem Restoration (MER) on Regen Ledger. MER credits will fund restoration of marine ecosystems like mangroves, coral reefs, and kelp forests.
The ZKsync Foundation and TreasureDAO are proposing a token swap of 16,800,000 ZK for 5,264,879 MAGIC, contingent upon Treasure launching as a ZK Chain. This initiative aims to create long-term alignment between both communities.
Arthera, an EVM-compatible Layer 1, is now live on Common! Check out their first welcome post.
